Question 1: How much time does it take to get
started?
Answer 1: You are normally up and running with registering
your chemicals as early as the first week, we then take over the
routine work by contacting your suppliers and updating all your
documentation..
Question 2: Can we link iChemistry to our current
inventory or business system?
Answer 2: Linking iChemistry to other systems is usually
not an option. But in those cases where benefits can be had by some
form of link, iChemistry is an open system that can be fully
integrated with other systems.
Question 3: How many departments can I administer using
iChemistry?
Answer 3: Unlimited amount, the departments are organised
in a tree structure.
Question 4: How many products can I administer using
iChemistry?
Answer 4: Unlimited
Question 5: What material and restriction lists do
Intersolia monitor?
Answer 5: We monitor all lists that are relevant for
satisfying authority requirements and in addition to this you can
add in-house restricted substance lists resulting from customer
requirements etc.
Question 6: How often do you update the material safety
data sheets?
Answer 6: We ensure that no sheet ever exceeds the limit
of three years that the authorities recommend. In practice,
however, this updating process takes place significantly more often
as we liaise with your suppliers of chemical products on an ongoing
basis.
Question 7: What system requirements do you have?
Answer 7: In order to use iChemistry SERVICE or iChemistry
COMPLIANCE, all you need is access to an Internet connection and
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 SP2 or later version. The system
requires no plug-ins or suchlike. Both iChemistry MANAGER and
iChemistry ENTERPRISE are run via an RDP client.
Question 8: Do our IT department need to be
involved?
Answer 8: If you have access to the Internet from the
relevant workstations there is no need to consult your internal IT
department. We handle all operations and you access iChemistry
using a standard browser.
Question 9: What do we need to do before engaging
you?
Answer 9: Not much, you just need to let us know what
chemical products you use in your business. Just make sure that you
have a list of your chemical products with the correct trade name
and supplier. If you do not already have this, we can also help you
compile an inventory list.
Question 10: I do not have computers in all my business
locations, what do I do?
Answer 10: One benefit of using iChemistry is that you can
print safety sheets, for example, to reach all chemical users
throughout your company. You can also get updated hard copies in
binders on a regular basis from us.
